# Update Profile

## What is Profile Update?

Updating your profile allows you to keep your personal information current. This includes your name, phone number, birthday, and security settings. Keeping this information up-to-date ensures better communication and security.

### How to Update Your Profile

* **Accessing Your Profile:**
  * On the top right corner of the app, click on your profile picture.
  * Click on "My Account". This will open your profile settings in a new tab.

* **Navigating the Profile Settings:**
  * There are three tabs available: **Profile Details**, **Security**, and **Delete Account**.
  * **Profile Details Tab:**
    * In this tab, you can update your personal information, such as your name, phone number, and birthday.
      * You can also change your profile picture by clicking on the image icon above your information fields.

* **Security Tab:**
  * In the Security tab, you can update your password.
    * Enable 2-step verification for added security. If enabled, you will receive a code in your email every time you try to log in.

* **Delete Account Tab:**
  * This tab provides information on how to delete your account. Note that you cannot delete your account directly from the app. You need to contact the Gamify Route support team for account deletion.
